How to Delete Backup Jobs in Genie Backup Manager

SYMPTOMS

You might have configured a backup job and then stopped using it and want to delete it from the jobs menu in Genie Backup Manager (GBM).

 

RESOLUTION

  1. Open Genie Backup Manager → Click Tools on the menu bar → Jobs Manager.
  2. Select the unwanted backup job by clicking on it → Remove.

The job will be deleted directly and no confirmation message will appear.

Deleting the job from here will remove this job’s settings and catalogs but not the backed up data in your backup drive.
