SYMPTOMS
When backing up in mirror or incremental mode and without compression, the backup can’t find index.gix and gives the error message:
“Missing index.gix file, can’t continue without this file”
CAUSE
Your previous backup run got interrupted.
RESOLUTION
You have to run a full backup to create the index.gix file again.
